One of the biggest issues with any implementation is customization and its impact on future application and toolset upgrades. Therefore, customization for delivered objects (Especially PeopleCode) occurs when it is absolutely required to meet project goals or functionality requirements.
To that end, PS WebSolution has developed the Configuration and Administration Module (CAM) to reduce the amount of developer PeopleTools™ interaction to maintain and/or change the targeted applications. The Configuration and Administration Module is a separate bolt-on application that is accessed by an authorized representative and allows them to maintain items such as messages, look and feel of applications, URL’s, and to even change business functionality or workflow, without the use of PeopleTools. This is especially important when an organization has outsourced their PeopleSoft environment. |
